Linux Administrator – High-Performance Computing Environment (Montreal-Based)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to join a collaborative technology team based in Montreal, responsible for managing and scaling high-performance compute and storage systems. This role is ideal for a Linux expert with a strong focus on on-premises and bare-metal environments, who is passionate about ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will oversee the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Linux-based infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing performance for compute and storage systems. You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure smooth operations of critical infrastructure, and collaborate with a highly skilled team to support the organization’s technical and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Linux operating systems, particularly RHEL and similar distributions, across bare-metal infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues related to compute and storage systems.
- Optimize system performance and scalability in an on-premises environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
