Position: Junior Accounting/Purchasing Clerk
Location: London. Fully on-site
Pay: $20-21.50/hr
Hours: 9am-5pm
Job Description
We are looking for someone to join our accounting / purchasing team. This role is a fast paced flexible role that will assist both the accounting team core day to day duties and the purchasing team in counting and order entry tasks.
We have a growing need for help with payables and receivables along with maintaining proper inventory controls. Being detail oriented, a quick learner, and flexible are assets in this role. Managing your time and working with other teams within the company in order to complete tasks on time is also valuable.
Duties Will Include
- Reporting
- Customer invoices
- Posting vendor invoices
- Enter visa statements
- Enter incoming payments
- Credits / Freight credits
- Responding to emails
- Receiving purchase orders
- Counting inventory
- Entering inventory
- Interacting with suppliers
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications And Skills
- Experience in accounting is an asset.
- Experience in warehouse inventory counting is an asset.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Gmail/Google Workspace, overall familiarity with and ability to learn new applications and technologies)
- Conscientiousness, attention to detail, accuracy and organization is important in this role
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Focus on continual learning and improvement
- Always available to act with integrity and honesty
