Job Title : IT Project Manager Location : Lacombe, Alberta (Hybrid - 1 Week per Month In-Office) - ContractOverview : Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a major IT system overhaul. This role involves managing a complex project with multiple stakeholders and a high level of responsibility. The position requires the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, make quick decisions through collaboration, and manage strong personalities within the team. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence one week per month in Lacombe, Alberta.Key Responsibilities : Manage and oversee the successful implementation of a major IT system upgrade.Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.Lead projects in a chaotic, high-stress environment, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.Drive consensus and get stakeholders to decision points quickly, while managing competing priorities and strong opinions.Ensure the project stays on track, mitigating risks, and keeping the team focused on the end goal.Required Experience : At least 3-5 years of Project Management experience, particularly in IT system implementations or complex projects.Experience with SalesForceProven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and driving collaborative decision-making.Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities.Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills to manage diverse perspectives and opinions.Ability to make tough decisions under pressure, navigating stress and chaos effectively.Ideal Candidate Traits : Experienced in managing high-stakes projects and leading teams in chaotic, fast-moving environments.Able to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly and effectively.Strong leader who can bring people together, even when opinions vary widely.Comfortable navigating complex situations and bringing projects to successful completion.
