  • Accurately document IT and security controls, processes, and activities to support audit readiness and compliance monitoring.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and sensitive data.
  • Scripting, Automation, and Systems Management

  • Develop, test, and maintain advanced scripts and automation workflows to optimize security processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, implement patching activities, and ensure systems are consistently updated to prevent exploitation of known vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the configuration, management, and optimization of security tools and platforms, including SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security solutions, and cloud‑based threat detection tools.
  • Provide after‑hours support for critical implementations, testing, and system upgrades as required, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Incident Response and Risk Mitigation

  • Assist team with cybersecurity incidents, supporting prompt response efforts and conducting detailed investigations, including log analysis, threat detection, and root cause determination.
  • Develop and recommend effective defensive strategies and countermeasures based on insights from technical security controls and threat intelligence.
  • Analyze and prioritize security‑related events, assess their severity and potential impact, and generate detailed reports for resolution in alignment with SLAs.
  • Implement corrective actions and recommend proactive risk mitigation measures to strengthen the organization’s overall cybersecurity resilience.
  • Reporting and Collaboration

  • Design & create reports / dashboards detailing security performance, detected vulnerabilities, resolved incidents, and ongoing risks for key stakeholders, including leadership and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security initiatives align with business objectives and to foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Support knowledge‑sharing initiatives by documenting security processes, providing training to internal and external users, and mentoring team members on best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on security‑related projects, providing guidance and expertise to ensure alignment with technical, operational, and compliance requirements.
  • Qualifications
