Job description

Levert is seeking a skilled Class A Mechanic / Certified Equipment Technician to support maintenance operations at a mining site. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment and mobile machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety in a demanding environment. This is a camp rotational position.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repair:
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on heavy equipment and trucks.

Maintenance:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including engine overhauls, component replacements, and system inspections.

Documentation:
Accurately complete work orders, maintenance reports, and parts inventory using computerized maintenance systems.

Safety Compliance:
Follow all site safety standards and procedures, including OHSA and WHMIS regulations. Proper use of PPE is required at all times.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Valid Trade Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
Red Seal Certification is considered a strong asset

Experience:
3–5 years of experience working with heavy mobile equipment in mining, construction, or similar industries
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
Welding and fabrication experience is an asset
Licensing:
Valid driver’s license required
