This role is crucial in managing the full lifecycle of IT assets and devices, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and operational efficiency across hardware, software, and related IT resources. You will work alongside SOTI’s partners which include leading tech giants that will keep you on the cusp of emerging technologies What you’ll do Maintain and update the asset inventory for all hardware assets. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, transfers, repairs, and secure disposal. Ensure accurate asset records, including serial numbers, asset tags, owners, locations, warranty status, and lifecycle information. Conduct regular audits, reconciliations, and reporting to support ITAM compliance and internal/external audits. Support IT Help Desk with onboarding, offboarding, loaner equipment, and replacement hardware workflows. Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on purchase verification, asset capitalization, and budgeting. Coordinate with vendors/OEM teams for warranty claims, repairs, and equipment returns. Generate reports on inventory levels, asset utilization, aging hardware, and refresh planning. Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT asset handling and tracking. Recommend process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control. Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including courier, freight, and customs logistics. Prepare shipping documentation such as packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and shipping labels. Select appropriate carriers and shipping methods based on cost, urgency, and service level agreements. Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues. Oversee receiving of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists. Prepare and review customs documentation to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure timely clearance of shipments. What you’ll bring Previous experience in IT Asset Management, Inventory administration, or Shipping logistics. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Solid organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of IT hardware, Android, iOS and Windows operating systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to enforce policies and procedures while maintaining positive working relationships. Shipping logistics experience managing the movement of goods, coordinating incoming/outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing documentation, and liaising with carriers and customers/departments. Exposure to IT asset lifecycle frameworks and ITAM best practices. Basic understanding of budgeting and asset cost tracking. Replacement Role - The targeted compensation range for this position typically falls between $(46,000 CAD to 57,000 CAD) annually.
