Overview
The Inventory Analyst compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment or supplies stocked. Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records, manually or using the ERP (Sage) system. Ensures seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items, as well as making transactional computer entries to keep the inventory system accurate.
Roles & Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
· Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred)
· Knowledge of workplace safety, safe lifting and handling procedures.
· Ability to work independently.
· Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
· Effective time management skills.
Working Conditions
· Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.
· Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
· Employee may be exposed to uncomfortable work settings such as cold or hot weather outdoors; may have combinations of standing, crouching, or sitting throughout the day.
· Must have the physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 45 lbs.
· Fast-paced environment.
· Overtime as required.
