Step into the world of data-driven decision making!
As a co-op student on the Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you'll play a key role in shaping how data powers our business. From building and managing innovative data solutions to documenting impactful insights, you'll help drive smarter strategies across the organization.
This is your chance to gain hands‑on experience with a centralized data team that transforms raw information into powerful visualizations and actionable analytics.
You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, sharpen your skills in stakeholder engagement, customer relations, and project management‑all while making a real impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines that serve as the organization’s single source of truth‑fueling smarter decisions across every business unit.
- Craft intuitive dashboards and visual tools that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights aligned with business goals.
- Champion data integrity by supporting governance policies that ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust across all departments.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to solve real business challenges through analytics‑always following industry best practices and pushing for excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full‑time, in‑office presence.
