Introduction

We are seeking an experienced developer to join our data analytics and business intelligence team. This role is central to transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated data visualizations and dashboards that empower business stakeholders to understand trends, identify opportunities, and optimize performance in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Tableau with a minimum of three years of professional experience building production-grade dashboards and visualizations.
Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with multiple database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud platforms.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, including financial metrics, basic accounting principles, risk management frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements commonly encountered in banking.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate with teams across the organization.
Prior work experience in the financial services industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and tools such as DataStage or Airflow.
Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
Background in banking, capital markets, or financial services, or relevant certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and build interactive dashboards and reports that translate raw data into compelling visual narratives.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, finance teams, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that address their analytical needs.
Optimize existing dashboards for performance and user experience, troubleshoot data issues, and provide training and support to end users.
Write and refine SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Document work thoroughly and maintain best practices for version control and development standards.
