The Role: Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of mid-to-high complexity projects within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures effective coordination across departments, monitors timelines and budgets, and verifies compliance with customer and quality specifications. Regular communication with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential to track progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across departments.
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers on project status and deliverables.
  • Support change order processing and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards, reporting variances as needed.
  • Help identify risks and provide options for mitigation.
  • Participate in progress meetings and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Track purchase orders, contract line items, and assist with reviewing estimates and scope.
  • Coordinate with sales and project management to ensure smooth communication with clients.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, manufacturing, or project management and/or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing and 2 years supporting or managing complex projects.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software and workflow tools used in manufacturing.
  • Understanding of fabrication methods, metals, machining, and project scheduling.
  • Knowledge of cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to visualize end products and manage projects to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • High attention to detail, goal-focused, and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to travel when necessary.
