Job descriptionEnrolled or completed Industrial Mechanic / Millwright program. Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights). Experience with stamping equipment, e.g., feed line systems. 3‑5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery.
Millwright Apprentice role at Cleveland-Cliffs , Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
This immediate opportunity is offered by Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping. The Millwright / Mechanic is responsible for supporting production in a fast‑paced, hot and cold stamping facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self‑motivated, and thrive in a dynamic work environment. Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring machines and facilities are maintained to operate safely and efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose equipment failures (routine and non‑routine).
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs.
- Abide by all company policies, including Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook.
