Job descriptionDevelop strategies to maintain low turnover and boost engagement. Oversee recognition programs to enhance morale and performance. Manage performance reviews and provide tools for feedback and recognition. Collaborate with managers to meet hiring needs (1–2 hires / month). Regularly review and recommend changes to ensure competitive compensation and benefits. Act as a resource for employee benefit inquiries and collaborate with payroll to provide support. Use employee feedback and market trends to optimize benefits offerings. Develop a comprehensive metrics system to track HR performance and effectiveness. Provide leadership with insights into turnover rates, hiring effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Create standardized job descriptions and evaluation templates. Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to support employee growth. Coach managers on performance-related matters. Oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and career development. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Lead change management initiatives to support growth and transformation. Facilitate team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). CPHR designation is an asset. Proven HR experience, ideally in a small to medium-sized company. Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, WorkSafe, and employment best practices. Familiarity with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Recruitment and talent acquisition expertise. Employee relations and conflict resolution. Compensation and benefits administration. Analytical skills for developing and tracking HR metrics.
