Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR and Health & Safety activities across a network of store locations, supporting a workforce of 1,000 non-union employees.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Manager, this role requires a relationship-focused individual who prioritizes intentional, personalized communication with store Owners and Managers, fostering trust and collaboration.
The HR Manager will directly manage the HR Coordinator and OHS Coordinator and will provide tailored HR and Health & Safety solutions to store teams. Key responsibilities include supporting stores with employment policies and procedures, managing recruitment activities, monitoring employee reviews, overseeing performance appraisals, and designing in-house training initiatives.

The role also involves managing the ADP Workforce Now HRIS platform, facilitating Town Hall meetings, and leading updates to HR documents and training plans. On the Health & Safety front, the HR Manager will ensure compliance with OHS guidelines, oversee Return-to-Work cases and WCB claims, facilitate safety training, and implement annual store safety audits.
