Job descriptionAccurately record and maintain information from HR forms into the HRIS Enroll new hires into absence plan Prepare and send absence balance reports to managers Write employment agreements and employment verification letters as required Prepare and send electronic new hire packages to new employees Update organizational charts on a monthly basis Manage the Career Investment program Handle the service recognition program, helping managers recognize their staff and employees Provide support with general enquiries related to HR policies and processes Act as temp agency liaison for short term staffing needs Share the delivery of new employee orientation with the HR Consultant Act as back-up to the HR Consultant during absences and vacation Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required Minimum 1-2 years relevant Human Resource experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills; French skills are an asset Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel) Ability to learn new software such as HRIS and ATS, prepare reporting and accurately enter information Demonstrated attention to detail and passion for HR and our industry Proven customer service skills and professional, collaborative approach to internal customer service Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Able to multitask in a fast paced environment Knowledge of benefits and pension administration, an asset
