Job description

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist!. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer support, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, being great with numbers, and proficiency in various software applications.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage incoming calls with effective phone etiquette, directing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
  • Support the dental office team by coordinating patient schedules and confirming appointments.
  • Maintain organization of the front desk area and ensure it is welcoming for clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer support role an asset.
  • Strong typing and math skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
