Description

Join the Seaboard Armour Transportation & Logistics (SATL) Team Today!

Are you a creative communicator who loves building brands from the inside out? Do you get energized by crafting the right message for the right audience — whether that's inspiring your colleagues or attracting new customers? We want to hear from you.

Position Overview: The Communications & Marketing Administrator plays a central role in shaping how our organization is perceived — both internally and externally. This position bridges employee experience and external brand growth by ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms and audiences. From crafting internal newsletters to managing social media channels and supporting paid campaigns, this role requires a creative, organized, and people-focused communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Location: Dartmouth, NS
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time Permanent

What You’ll Do
Tell the Story of Every Mile
  • Create and schedule compelling content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and more)
  • Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across every channel — from the website to internal newsletters
  • Design graphics, short videos, and visual assets using Canva to bring our brand to life
  • Keep our website content fresh and up to date (no coding required)

Connect and Engage
  • Build genuine relationships with our online community by responding to messages, comments, and reviews
  • Support paid ad campaigns — from creative concept through to performance reporting
  • Monitor our digital reputation and help us put our best foot forward on Google and beyond

Strengthen our Internal Culture
  • Partner with teams across the organization to surface stories worth telling
  • Develop internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and celebrated
  • Support employee recognition programs, company events, and job fairs

Requirements
Experience & Education
  • A diploma or degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media in a professional context

Skills that Set you Apart
  • A strong, clear writing voice with a natural ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Comfort with Canva or similar design tools; photography or video editing skills are a bonus
  • Experience with content scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, or CMS systems
  • An organized, detail-oriented approach — you manage multiple deadlines without missing a beat
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to build relationships across teams

If you’re passionate about storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a meaningful role in shaping both culture and brand, then this role is for you!
