We are currently seeking a Software Support Developer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Performing Level 2 technical support for our airport and airline customers by troubleshooting a wide range of issues that are affecting the operation of their Baggage Handling Systems

  • Assisting Level 1 service technicians by providing in-depth troubleshooting & technical support

  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production

  • Creating, testing, and deploying software patches

  • Maintaining, developing, and improving our automated test and deployment tools

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and recommend improvements to products and internal processes

Qualifications Required: Qualifications Required:
  • Diploma or Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

  • Preferred 1-3 years’ experience (co-op considered)

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable

  • Proficiency with SQL & knowledge of databases

  • Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, JavaScript is an asset

  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems such as SNOW (ServiceNow)

  • The ability to perform night/weekend work
