PURPOSE

Reporting to the Event and Activation Manager, the Brand Activator (located in Alberta) will implement and execute CCM consumer and customer events following the Brand Marketing plan for the assigned region in accordance with global guidelines. They will ensure execution and commercial impact of CCM marketing concepts in-store. They will additionally implement and Grow The Game activities, whilst building relationships with key partners and retail staff. This role will ensure to educate staff, organize and coordinate in-store activation, consumer activations and large scale events, as well as build local brand awareness.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Build and ensure proper customer and partner relationship management.
  • Implement go-to-market activities (in-store, events, shows, camps, etc.).
  • Initiate and perform sell-through activities in stores.
  • Carry through Grow The Game activities.
  • Support local PR initiatives.
  • Contribute to the briefing process to Trade Marketing for in-store needs (communication, POP, staff tools, etc.)
  • Educate and inform in-store retail staff on technical product specifics and concepts on key product launches.
  • Organize and participate occasionally in team activities and events outside of regular working hours (weekends and evenings)
  • Ensure social media content for CCM on various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, combined with 1-2 years of experience in sport store
  • Ability to work within an established budget.
  • Strong customer-focused and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and team-oriented.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A deep understanding of Alberta's hockey industry and consumer trends.
  • High degree of comfort with various social media platforms and trends
  • Ability to travel (65%)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
