Job Description

SIXT is looking for a Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA). The VSA will be responsible for the interior and exterior cleaning of our Rental Fleet. This role also involves the fueling, driving to and from specified locations, and other job-related activities outlined by your Branch Manager. In this role you will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Look forward to numerous development opportunities with an hourly rate of $22.

YOUR ROLES AT SIXT

• Clean and vacuum interior vehicle as per SIXT standards
• Wash & clean vehicle's exterior - this includes cars of different sizes including Minivans and SUVs.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing, as necessary.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education & Experience You have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in vehicle service or a related field. Experience in car rental, automotive maintenance, or dealership services is preferred
• Communication Skills You have strong verbal communication abilities, allowing you to interact effectively with customers, coworkers, and management, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all
• Attention to Detail You can discreetly check vehicles for any damage, verify fuel levels, and accurately document findings, maintaining the quality and safety of the fleet
• Licence & Authorization Must hold a valid Provincial driver's licence with a clean driving record and must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Work Hours & Conditions You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions. You are also physically able to move in and out of vehicles throughout your shift
