Flatbed driver Jobs in Milton, ON

Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for multiple Warehouse Order Pickers to join their team! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application. These positions will start immediately for the right candidate.

For consideration, you must have a current order picker forklift and working at heights license. Also, you must be comfortable with manual order picking. There are no scanners.

Salary:

$21.00 per hour, temporary to permanent.

Hours of Work:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Safely utilizing an Order Picker to pick orders from the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
  
• Organizing the warehouse and manufacturing area. Ensuring the line is supplied for necessary product.
  
• Assisting with loading and unloading, both by hand and using an order picker.
  
• Periodically completing inspection of equipment, advising supervisor of any issues.
  
• Checking prepared loads and general paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Adherence to all safety processes.
  
• General help with other tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• Must have a current order picker forklift license.
  
• Must have a working from heights license.
  
• Must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  
• Excellent math skills is important.
  
• Desire to work in a manufacturing setting in a unique and specialized industry.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not repetitive or constant).
  
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  
• Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
  
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
