Location : Edmonton, ABOverview : A reputable general contractor in Edmonton is seeking a hardworking, enthusiasticProject Manager to join their team. Employees are encouraged to grow their careers, maintain work-life balance, take an entrepreneurial approach, and uphold a problem-solving, family-oriented, and team culture.The Project Manager will provide overall project management on multidisciplinary commercial construction projects.Principal Duties & Responsibilities : Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with clients and all project stakeholders.Manage and coordinate project design, budget, and schedule.Collaborate with the project team to discuss progress, risks, and solutions to meet scheduled dates.Provide strong leadership to team members to ensure project targets are achieved.Maintain, track, and report all financial aspects of the project, including forecasts and billings.Lead and implement the procurement process for subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.Reinforce company culture.Knowledge & Skills Required : Minimum of 5 years of institutional / commercial construction experience.Construction-related degree / diploma preferred.Experience with Procore and MS Project preferred.Knowledge of pull planning techniques is preferred.Willingness to travel to sites and work from site offices as needed.Strong knowledge of scheduling, project management, and cost controls.Valid and clean driver’s license.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.Proven ability to take initiative and respect diversity.In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package with RRSP matching, this company offers an exciting and challenging work environment, and a culture that values self-motivation, relationships, challenge, and team.If you are a dedicated and experienced project manager looking to take your career to the next level, we would love to hear from you.
