Job Overview:
We are seeking a Level 3 Windows System Administrator to join our team and provide support for our clients' Windows-based systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Windows-based infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems and infrastructure for clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows systems and applications
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect systems and data
- Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Collaborate with other team members to provide support and resolve issues
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Windows systems administration
- Provide on-call support as needed for critical issues
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Participate in project planning and implementation for new systems and upgrades
- Train and mentor junior system administrators as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows system administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as Azure or AWS, is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, are preferred
