Entry Level Operator in Steel Manufacturing

AltaSteel is currently looking for an individual who wants to kick start their career in Steel Manufacturing as an Entry Level Operator.

As an operator with AltaSteel, you have the opportunity to start your career in one of many entry level positions on-site where you will have room to grow and advance. Entry level positions may include but are not limited to: Rail Yard Labourer, Fork Lift Operator, Crane Operator, or Materials Handler.

Qualifications & Skills

• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Mindset geared towards safety
• Strong communication skills
• Able to adhere to policies and procedures
• Positive attitude
• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to perform manual labour
• Able to perform routine, repetitious work
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is considered an asset
• Experience operating equipment is considered an asset
