Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for a temporary position based in London, ON. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data across various systems. Your role will ensure the integrity of records, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

  • Pay rate : $20 / hour.
  • Location : London, ON
  • Shifts : Monday-Friday
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time

    • Responsibilities :

  • Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, or other data management systems.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in data.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files and records.
  • Assist in preparing reports and generating basic data summaries.
  • Communicate with other departments to clarify data entry needs or resolve issues.
  • Perform routine data audits and assist in data cleaning as necessary.
  • Manage incoming data requests and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed.

    • Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level).
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and other data management software.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (typically 40-60 words per minute or higher).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high focus and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
