  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation, including:
  • Schematics and design notes
  • Test procedures and reports
  • Risk assessments and change documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of:
  • Power converter topologies (, buck, boost, full-bridge, resonant)
  • PCB layout principles
  • Laboratory measurement equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power analyzer)
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar) is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based engineering environment.

Beyond the basic required skills, additional consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in the following areas:

  • High-power RF amplifier architectures (SSPA)
  • High-voltage power electronics used in medical imaging systems
  • Reliability and thermal design considerations
  • Structured design processes within an ISO manufacturing environment
  • Cross-functional engineering collaboration in a production setting
