Responsibilities:
  • Lead field employees by providing mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback
  • Coach employees on safety, quality, and productivity best practices
  • Identify training needs and deliver safety and technical training to field employees
  • Monitor work performance, approve time tickets, and maintain vacation schedules
  • Investigate incidents and near misses; support safe return-to-work initiatives
  • Conduct safety observations and ensure proper PPE usage
  • Manage projects within financial budgets and maximize manpower efficiency
  • Monitor job completion, implement corrective actions, and maintain ISO/quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and local regulations
  • Evaluate and request tools to improve productivity
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally; maintain strong client relations
  • Communicate with inspectors, business agents, and unions to resolve disputes
Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years in the elevator industry or a related field, including supervision of capital equipment installation
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Flexible to work extended hours as business demands
