Job Title: Field Supervisor - New Installations & Modernizations
Location: Ottawa, ON
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Responsibilities:
Lead field employees by providing mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback
Coach employees on safety, quality, and productivity best practices
Identify training needs and deliver safety and technical training to field employees
Monitor work performance, approve time tickets, and maintain vacation schedules
Investigate incidents and near misses; support safe return-to-work initiatives
Conduct safety observations and ensure proper PPE usage
Manage projects within financial budgets and maximize manpower efficiency
Monitor job completion, implement corrective actions, and maintain ISO/quality standards
Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and local regulations
Evaluate and request tools to improve productivity
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally; maintain strong client relations
Communicate with inspectors, business agents, and unions to resolve disputes
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
3-5 years in the elevator industry or a related field, including supervision of capital equipment installation
Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor teams
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
Computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Flexible to work extended hours as business demands
