Job Overview: GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Journeyman Electrician to join our Valued Clients team at a carbon capture plant in Squamish, BC.

This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment within a carbon capture facility.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure reliable plant operations.

Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code, site standards, and safety regulations.

Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to support plant performance.

Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy commercial environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety practices.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues independently.

Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industrial processing, energy, or carbon capture facilities.

Familiarity with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.

Previous experience working on environmentally regulated industrial sites.

Work Environment: Industrial carbon capture plant setting.

Combination of indoor and outdoor work.

Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying weather conditions while adhering to strict safety protocols.
