We are hiring an Electrical Engineer on a contract basis to support a project our client is working on. While this is a project-based contract there is a possibility of a permanent hire for the right candidate.
Salary : $45-$50 / hr based on relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Emphasize design of control systems (automation / controls) including wiring schematics block diagrams panel layouts and I / O lists.
- Design and develop electrical drawings for HVAC systems on marine vessels including power distribution local control panels and single-line diagrams
- Produce and revise electrical schematics wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings using CAD software
- Ensure all designs meet marine standards customer technical specifications safety regulations (e.g. SOLAS) and classification society requirements (ABS Lloyds DNV)
- Collaborate with project managers customer technical representatives and third-party equipment suppliers to support system integration
- Maintain accurate documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and resolve technical issues during design and implementation phases
