** This role can be located anywhere out of Alberta or Saskatchewan **

FLINT is growing its Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation & Closure (ARRC) services across Central and North East Alberta and is seeking a Project Manager to support regional delivery and operational excellence.

This role is suited for an experienced environmental project professional who can lead people, manage complex projects, and support sustainable business growth within the region. You will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing client relationships, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to business development and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen regional operations.

What would you be doing?

  • Manage the full lifecycle of environmental projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and client communication.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, financial performance, and quality objectives to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional work and supporting business development activities.
  • Contribute to proposals, work planning, and strategic growth initiatives within the region.
  • Promote consistency in project delivery by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, and adherence to FLINT's management systems and processes.

Perks of the job

  • Opportunity to lead regional ARRC delivery and influence how work is carried out across the region.
  • Meaningful work supporting assessment, remediation, reclamation, and responsible land closure.
  • Collaborative team environment with strong cross-service integration.
  • Support from an established Project Management Office (PMO), providing project controls, systems, processes, and administrative resources to help drive successful project delivery.
  • Growing organization with opportunities to develop both leadership and technical depth.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline with a relevant professional designation.
  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience, with strong exposure to assessment, remediation, and/or reclamation projects and regulatory work in Alberta with experience in Saskatchewan considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated success managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of Alberta regulatory requirements and environmental project delivery practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing client needs, and drive successful project outcomes.
