Role and Facility Information
This clinic is a stabilization service for patients in the Campbell River community and surrounding area and offers same day episodic appointments. The Island Health Campbell River Primary Care Access Clinic has four exam rooms and offers extended hours providing opportunities for patient appointments from 8 : 30 am – 7 : 30 pm Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.
Island Health is actively recruiting more providers to offer this important primary care service. This clinic offers flexibility, competitive provider service contracts, a team-base care model and the opportunity to be part of a vital primary care service in the Campbell River community.
The clinic is located at 381 2nd Avenue adjacent to the North Island Hospital - Campbell River; it is staffed with MOAs, nurses and providers working in a collaborative care approach.
No overhead contribution by physician to clinic.
