About your next Challenge as a Senior DevOps Specialist:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in private cloud infrastructure to help design, implement, and maintain our on-prem environment. The role involves building automation pipelines, managing virtualization, and ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nutanix technologies and will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline application delivery and infrastructure management.

What will you do:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Packer, python, PowerShell.
• Support cross-functional teams by clearly communicating DevOps concepts, providing guidance, and helping to prioritize automation tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Implement and/or maintain monitoring, logging and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps as a DevOps Engineer, within product development environments involving on-premise solutions or embedded systems.
• Deep expertise in the following areas:
  o scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Ansible, Packer and Terraform.
  o Linux and Windows System Administration: Active Directory, domain management, user and access control, patch management, and PKI
  o Operating System Hardening: Familiarity with relevant standards such as CIS Benchmarks and NIST guidelines; experience with related tools is an asset.
  o Configuration Management, Automation, and Infrastructure/Configuration as Code (IaC/CaC): Proficient in modern deployment and orchestration practices.
  o Follow/Implement DevOps best practices
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking, storage, and virtualization
• Fluency in English is required - The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
