We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the design delivery of a single, high‑profile ICI project delivered within a P3 / alternative delivery environment. This role will be fully dedicated to the successful execution of one project, ensuring design coordination, technical excellence, risk alignment, and clear integration between design intent and construction.
The Senior Design Manager will act as the central design authority, working closely with consultants, construction partners, client representatives, and internal stakeholders from early design through construction, with a strong understanding of P3 interfaces, responsibilities, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end design management for a single large‑scale ICI project, from concept development through construction, within a P3 or alternative delivery framework
- Serve as the primary design point of contact for the client, consultants, construction team, and P3 consortium partners
- Coordinate and manage architectural and engineering consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and contract‑compliant design delivery
- Oversee design approvals, submissions, and revisions in alignment with project schedule, commercial requirements, and P3 obligations
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for quality, constructability, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Ensure adherence to applicable building codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and P3 contractual design responsibilities
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve design conflicts, interface risks, and scope gaps
- Support construction by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, addressing design changes, and maintaining design intent
- Provide leadership and mentorship to design and project team members assigned to the project
- Collaborate closely with commercial, construction, and owner interface teams to support design decisions throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing design delivery on large‑scale ICI projects
- Demonstrated P3 or alternative delivery experience, including design coordination within complex contractual frameworks
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary design teams on complex, technically challenging builds
- Strong working knowledge of ICI construction practices, codes, approvals, and phased delivery environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder interests
- Experience collaborating closely with construction teams on live projects from early works through completion

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is $125,000 - $175,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity.
