Role Details
- Work Location – Brampton, ON
- Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 work from home
- The full base salary range for this position is from $144,000 - $194,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity
The Director, Supply Planning is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping, executing, and continuously elevating the organization’s end to end supply planning capabilities. This role drives operational excellence, ensures tight integration across planning functions, and aligns supply chain operations with enterprise growth objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in supply planning and S&OP, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to influence executive-level decisions through rigorous analytics and scenario modeling.
Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Planning Leadership
• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-level supply planning strategies that drive operational excellence.
• Define planning priorities and capabilities that align supply execution with business growth objectives.
End-to-End Planning Integration & Governance
• Oversee the supply planning function and supply review process, ensuring tight coordination between demand forecasting, supply planning, production scheduling, and S&OP.
• Balance service, cost, and inventory performance through robust governance and continuous improvement methodologies.
S&OP Ownership and Executive Planning
• Lead the supply planning components of the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring alignment of supply responses to demand signals.
• Conduct scenario analysis and supply-risk modeling to develop clear, data-driven recommendations for senior leadership.
Tools, Analytics & Performance Management
• Implement and continuously enhance advanced planning tools, analytics, and digital planning capabilities.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and visibility tools that drive accountability and improve performance across the planning cycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, sales, and product teams to ensure synchronized planning and flawless execution.
• Build strong relationships to proactively identify risks, optimize supply chain flow, and ensure business continuity.
People Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply planning and deployment planning teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Attract and develop top talent, strengthening the organization’s future leadership pipeline.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply planning and/or S&OP within FMCG or similar fast paced industries.
• Minimum 5 years in senior management overseeing integrated planning teams and processes.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with a history of data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated experience presenting to C-level executives.
• Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Experience with modern planning tools, S&OP platforms, and advanced analytics frameworks.
