About the Opportunity
  • Provide hands-on leadership to the regional finance team, overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while setting priorities, managing capacity, coaching team members, and driving day-to-day operational execution.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement through clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and process ownership.
  • Oversee end-to-end customer billing activities across recurring managed services contracts (MRR), project-based work, professional services, and hardware/software resale.
  • Manage collections strategy, customer credit assessments, and resolution of billing discrepancies to ensure timely cash receipts and minimized credit risk.
  • Ensure accurate revenue capture through strong contract-to-invoice alignment, adherence to billing terms, and consistent application of revenue-related controls.
  • Lead vendor invoicing and payment processes, including approvals, payment runs, maintenance of vendor master data, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Ensure proper expense coding, cost allocation to clients and projects, and compliance with purchase order requirements and internal approval standards.
  • Own local month-end close responsibilities for AR and AP, including subledger reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Support external audit requirements, indirect tax filings (GST/PST/HST), and intercompany transactions by ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely documentation.
  • Drive system optimization, automation, and finance process improvements within the ERP and billing environment, while supporting integration and standardization initiatives across the broader finance organization.

About You
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Supervisory experience managing AR and/or AP teams.
  • Strong proficiency in full cycle accounting.
  • CPA designated (Canadian or International).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable guidance for non-financial partners.
  • Experience in an MSP, IT services, SaaS or recurring revenue business is a plus.

Salary Range
$100,000 - $115,000/year
