Job description

Randstad is currently recruiting for a full-time, 5 days on-site, Client Advisor Assistant for our client in Waterloo to join a premier, boutique wealth management firm.

In this role, you will serve as the essential link between high-net-worth clients, Portfolio Managers, and internal operations to ensure flawless account administration and high-touch service.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch administrative support, handle direct client communications, and manage seamless account openings and transfers (RRSP, TFSA, RIF, Corporate)
- Prepare polished client meeting packages, portfolio performance reports, and presentation materials for Portfolio Managers
- Maintain precise CRM database records and collaborate with the team to streamline daily workflows and ensure flawless execution

Qualifications
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Client Advisor Assistant or Assistant supporting Portfolio Managers in discretionary wealth management (non-mutual fund)
- Deep understanding of Canadian account types, stock and bond fundamentals, and institutional account transfer processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and industry CRM database platforms
- Exceptional organization, proactive problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm, executive-level professional demeanor
- Ability to work full-time on-site 5 days per week in Waterloo, ON
