Professional Stability: Consistent onsite schedule at a premier Toronto office location.

Responsibilities
Architectural Design: Develop and implement data architectures for application development, including data distribution, database location strategy, and access methodologies.

BI Optimization: Perform deep performance tuning of BI applications, including schema optimization and SQL stored procedure refinement.

Documentation: Expand documentation of business processes relative to available data; maintain a comprehensive data dictionary.

Testing & QA: Define and execute test plans (Unit, System, UAT) across the development lifecycle to ensure functionality and security.

Collaboration: Coordinate with Business Analysts and Developers to refine requirements and address interdependencies.

Qualifications

Tools: Extensive knowledge of modelling tools such as PowerDesigner or Visio, and BI metadata tools like Power BI.

Cloud DevOps: Demonstrated experience within the Azure DevOps environment.

Design Excellence: Proven track record in creating both Functional (FDD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD).

Niche Knowledge (Assets): Familiarity with IBM Cúram (SAMS) and Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or ArchiMate.
