Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Community Programs the Community Programs Facilitator is responsible for delivering established and emerging programs including prenatal and parenting initiatives and for supporting the expansion of professional development opportunities for social service and early years professionals such as CCRR. The role contributes to organizational capacity through curriculum development training and resource creation aligned with identified community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured workshops on prenatal and postnatal topics life skills and wellness for families youth and adults.
- Support the enhancement of evidence based family and youth programs by contributing to curriculum development.
- Codesign pilot and facilitate prenatal and parenting programs including Nobodys Perfect Parenting and evidence based curricula such as YMind.
- Plan and deliver professional development for community service and early years professionals including ECE training Mental Health First Aid and Positive Youth Development.
- Advance program quality through family centred strength based trauma-informed and culturally safe practices.
- Use data and participant feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with partners across child care health social and community service sectors to codevelop content.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality set boundaries and uphold safety standards.
- Curriculum & Content Development :
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and evidence based program design.
