Creative writer Jobs in Nelson, BC

We’re looking for a caring, creative, and energetic nanny to join our family (live out) and care for our curious and spirited 1.5-year-old son. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from approximately 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

We're hoping to find someone who genuinely loves working with toddlers—someone who can keep up with his energy, nurture his wild spirit, and engage him in fun, enriching, and developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day.

What we're looking for :

Someone enthusiastic about active indoor and outdoor play

Enjoys reading, singing, arts & crafts, and sensory play

Comfortable with a friendly family dog

Can integrate naturally into our family dynamic

Able to prepare simple, healthy snacks and lunches

Willing to do light tidying related to childcare (e.g., toy clean-up, dishes after meals, starting laundry etc.)

Can follow and support a consistent nap routine

Requirements :

Prior childcare experience (preferably with toddlers)

Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Clear criminal record check

Valid driver’s license (own transportation is required)
