Construction Project Manager - Pre-engineered Steel Buildings

Location: Langley, BC

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Mon - Fri in the office with occasional travel to site)

Must Haves:

8+ years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
Relevant construction management education.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Proficient in computer software, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently.

Nice to Haves:

Experience in Structural steel or pre-engineered steel buildings.
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction, ensuring effective communication with owners, consultants, and sub-trades.
Lead on-site personnel, which includes superintendents and/or sub-trades.
Oversee project initiation, scheduling, and cost control.
Prioritize and promote safety while ensuring projects are executed on schedule and with high quality.
Prepare progress invoices, manage change orders to the owner, and oversee purchase orders/change orders to sub-trades.
Close out projects efficiently and thoroughly.
