The E-Volunteer’s Role

As a Knowledge Management and Learning Advisor, you will support Centro Bartolomé de las Casas in reviewing and organizing documentation from four projects completed in 2025. Working remotely with the partner team, you will help identify key achievements, lessons learned, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Your support will contribute to stronger program learning, better documentation of results, and more effective future interventions with underserved groups in Peru.

As an e-volunteer, you will support the organization through the following activities:

  • Review project implementation documents from four projects completed in 2025, including final reports, activity reports, success stories, and related materials.
  • Organize and synthesize information to identify key achievements, results, challenges, lessons learned, and promising practices.
  • Support the partner team in developing a clear systematization approach that captures what worked well, what could be improved, and why.
  • Help prepare a concise learning summary or systematization report that can inform future project design, implementation, and partner decision-making.
  • Provide practical recommendations to strengthen documentation, knowledge management, and learning processes for future interventions.
  • Collaborate remotely with partner staff to clarify information needs, validate findings, and ensure the final outputs are useful and accessible.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, social sciences, international development, public policy, or a related field.
  • Advanced Spanish skills, including the ability to review technical documents and provide clear written feedback.

Essential Background:

  • Experience with social projects, community development, program documentation, knowledge management, or monitoring, evaluation and learning.
  • Knowledge of NGO programming, project reporting, or results-based learning processes.
  • Ability to synthesize information, identify lessons learned, and communicate findings in a clear and practical way.
  • Comfort working remotely and collaboratively with partners across cultures and time zones.
