DHL Express currently has an opening for a Marketing & Communications Specialist in our National Office in Brampton.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
· Coordinate the planning and execution of integrated marketing activities supporting sponsorships and partnership programs in Canada.
· Develop activation plans, project timelines, implementation schedules, and supporting materials for assigned partnership and brand initiatives.
· Coordinate promotional activity across digital marketing, organic social, communications, advertising, online and offline events, and on-site activations.
· Coordinate partnership-related communications and respond to requests from customers, community organizations, media, and internal business partners as appropriate.
· Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Communications, Sales, agencies, and other partners to support effective campaign and activation execution.
· Assists in the development and review of sales budgets and in controlling advertising and promotion budget variations
· Creates advertising and promotional materials
· Travel as required to support event and hospitality execution, including occasional evenings and weekends.
· Executes a variety of programs that support commercial communications, events and campaigns that drive engagement
· Supports branding initiatives (facility, campaigns, etc)
Do you have what it takes?
Educational Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience in event management, sponsorship marketing, project management, or hospitality is an advantage.
Expected (Years of) Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience supporting sponsorship activation, partnership marketing, customer events, hospitality programs, or related marketing activities.
· Proven ability in project planning, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
· Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience working with external agencies, vendors, business partners, or event organizations is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to track timelines, budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and program documentation.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
