Profile

The Liaison Engineer is responsible for dispositioning non-conformances, developing repairs and coordinating their implementation within the aircraft manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide world class service and act as on-site engineering support for extended maintenance and modification programs involving Viking’s products. This includes supporting the development of technical solutions, development of engineering data, and acting as a principle point of contact for the customer, modification and maintenance service provider, and Viking personnel.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the development and certification of repair and other design change projects in accordance with the requirements set forth by Viking Engineering and customer support service standards.
• Develop substantiation for design changes and work with the Engineering Manager to prioritize work activities.
• Manage ongoing mod projects in accordance with department priorities.
• Coordinate with DAO and manufacturing / maintenance to ensure conformity of new designs
• Apply project management principles in executing and overseeing projects. Monitor progress on deliverables and update stakeholders as needed.
