Gestionnaire en approvisionnement et log

Your role and responsibilities

Based in Ville St-Laurent, Quebec, the buyer will report to the Director of Supply Chain Management and Logistics. The buyer will work closely with team members and in direct contact with the produc-tion and engineering departments to meet deadlines. •Place material orders and ensure follow-up with suppliers. • Reconcile disputed invoices according to purchase orders. • Follow up on claims and non-conformities. • Maintain business relationships with suppliers. • Produce necessary reports for supplier evaluation. • Oversee the replacement of defective products. • Any other related tasks in connection with these responsibilities.

Qualifications for the role

  • DEC in administration or Bachelor's degree in administration.
  • Knowledge in procurement. Knowledge of SAP (asset).
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite) Advanced Excel.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) essential.
  • French is required. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate initiative, rigor, and meticulousness. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
