Job description

This position is ideal for a calm, safety-conscious person. The main role involves loading and unloading a wide variety of goods of various sizes and weights. You'll spend most of your time operating a forklift, but must also be able to lift loads of up to 75 lbs.

Previous loading and unloading experience and a valid forklift license are essential. You need to have experience on the DOCK STOCKER machine.

$19.50/hr

Schedule: DAY shift Saturday and Sunday 7.30am-8pm + 2 weekdays



access to the location is not served by bus during the weekend. MUST own a car.
Steel toed shoes and vest required.

Responsibilities
Responsabilities of the forklift driver:

- Operate forklift (75% of tasks)
- Using RF scanners
- Wrapping pallets
- Repetitive lifting 50-70 lbs (25% of tasks)
- Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes
- Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team


Qualifications
The forklift driver must :

- have a valid external forklift license
- Dock Stocker forklift experience
- 1-2 years warehouse experience
- have previous experience in LTL loading and unloading
- be able to lift 75 pounds
- hazardous goods certification (an asset)
