  • Responsibilities :

  • Negotiate collective agreements, mediate labor disputes and grievances, and provide advice on employee and labor relations
  • Conduct and lead internal investigations
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within client groups
  • Support execution of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs
  • Respond to HR inquiries from management and employees; escalate higher-level matters to Director of HR
  • Facilitate day-to-day employee / labor relations, including complaint resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Provide recruitment and onboarding support for hourly and salaried personnel
  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives and process improvements
  • Perform other HR projects as assigned by management
  • Qualifications :

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
  • CHRP designation or working towards CHRP is an asset
  • 10+ years of specialized Labour and Human Resources experience in hands-on HR roles
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Labour legislation
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented self-starter with strong professionalism and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
