Are you a detail-oriented and driven Buyer looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? At Amico Patient Care, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials that support the production of life-enhancing medical equipment.

As part of a growing organization, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, influence supplier strategies, and contribute directly to operational efficiency and product quality. If you’re passionate about sourcing, negotiation, and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and review engineering and CAD drawings to support accurate sourcing and procurement decisions.
Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and execute RFQs/RFPs; analyze supplier quotations and recommend best-value options.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely order confirmations from suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and proactively follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service teams to align purchasing with production requirements.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, including freight optimization and supplier consolidation.
Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Resolve supply chain issues, shortages, and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is an asset) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Solid analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary Range: $51,000 – $60,000
