Responsabilités spécifiques

  • Identifier les indicateurs clé de la performance (ICP) de nos opérations, analyser et interpréter les tendances et identifier les secteurs problématiques à l’aide de techniques statistiques et suggérer des améliorations.
  • Planifiez le mouvement de la marchandise pour les produits promotionnels et saisonniers.
  • Suivre les ICP et produire des rapports pour rendre compte des performances de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et expliquer les écarts.
  • Élaborer des procédures normalisées pour optimiser le flux de travail à l'échelle locale ou nationale.
  • Évaluer les problèmes, analyser les causes profondes et recommander des améliorations pour maintenir l'intégrité, la cohérence et la qualité de la production.
  • Appliquer l’expertise de la méthodologie Lean et Six-sigma pour les déploiements et la résolution de problèmes à l’échelle régionale et des centres de distributions.
  • Élaborer un mappage des flux de valeur et des processus qui permettront de suivre le flux de matériel et d’informations des fournisseurs aux clients.
  • Agir à titre d’expert dans votre domaine, en fournissant des idées, des innovations, des opinions et des conseils aux autres à l’échelle régionale et nationale.
  • Développer et utiliser des mesures, des analyses et des méthodes d’évaluation appropriées pour identifier et documenter avec précision les améliorations de processus.
  • Planifier et aider à la mise en œuvre d'initiatives ou de projets d'optimisation de la chaîne d'approvisionnement liés aux changements opérationnels – à court et à moyen terme – tels que l'aménagement des CD, des secteurs de l'entrepôt, la planification des itinéraires, le flux de marchandises, la planification de la capacité, la gestion de l'inventaire, les risques, les bris– la qualité et le service.
  • Assurer une mise en œuvre adéquate des projets proposés, tout en tenant compte des calendriers et des efforts / budgets et des impacts, et faire un suivi auprès des collaborateurs et des intervenants.
  • Évaluer les problèmes, analyser les causes profondes et recommander des améliorations pour maintenir l'intégrité, la cohérence et la qualité de la distribution.
  • Prendre action pour atténuer les risques reliés aux changements et aux projets en cours avec la collaboration des équipes d’amélioration continue et des CD.
  • Créer et offrir des présentations de qualité dans le but d'informer, d'instruire, d'inspirer ou d’influencer
  • Identifier des opportunités d’amélioration dans les projets et rendre compte des étapes et des réussites.
  • Collaborer avec ses pairs pour atteindre les objectifs d’amélioration dans le réseau national de distribution (flux, Stockage, agencement, nouveaux produits et changement de processus).
  • Contribuer à l’élaboration de nouveaux matériels de formation sur les processus et participer à la formation du personnel de l’entrepôt dans tous les CD.
  • Appuyer activement la création d’une culture d’amélioration continue la culture d’excellence.
  • Mettre en évidence les risques et les opportunités potentiels et formuler et exécuter des plans d'amélioration des processus, d'action et d'atténuation

D'autres tâches pourraient être assignées, le cas échéant, pour assurer l’atteinte des objectifs de l'entreprise.

Formation et compétences

  • Titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire en Gestion de opé rations , ingénierie ou expérience équivalente
  • Minimum de 4 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire technique avec une solide connaissance des opérations de distribution, de la gestion du flux de matériel de l'entreposage ou de la production.
  • Compétences éprouvées en matière de résolution de problèmes Expérience dans l’application du Lean Six Sigma - Certification ceinture jaune serait un atout.
  • Solide connaissance de Dev-express, Access, Excel et AS400. Une expérience avec Power BI et SQL serait un atout.
  • Doit avoir une compétence avancée afin de manipuler et extraire des informations des bases de données.
  • Expérience en gestion de projet et dans la gestion des changements (désignation PMP serait un atout.)
  • Solides compétences en communications interpersonnelles afin de trouver efficacement de l’information, d’obtenir des approbations, d’établir des relations et d’exercer une influence suffisante pour réussir.
  • Avoir une attitude nature proactive et remettre en question les processus existants afin de les améliorer et de proposer de nouvelles solutions.
  • Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et de prioriser efficacement plusieurs projets
  • Capacité de travailler sur divers quarts de travail pour répondre aux besoins du centre de distribution
  • Capacité à voyager dans la région (20% du temps).
  • Une présence sur place est requise à 80 % du temps.
  • Avoir une Bonne Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
  • Job Summary

    The successful candidate will focus on increasing operational value, eliminating waste, reducing costs, and improving overall service offering in the Eastern region distribution centers (DCs). The employee will provide key assistance and advice to the Operations team by conducting detailed analyses and preparing related reports. Critical responsibilities include planning, developing and maintaining operational projects and initiatives related to product flow, inventory management, layout planning and production optimization

    Specific Responsibilities

  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) of our operations, analyze and interpret trends, and identify problem areas using statistical techniques and suggest improvements.
  • Plan the movement of material and units for promotional and seasonal products.
  • Track KPIs and produce reports on supply chain performance and explain discrepancies.
  • Develop standard procedures to optimize workflow locally or nationally.
  • Evaluate issues, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements to maintain production integrity, consistency, and quality.
  • Apply Lean and Six-Sigma methodology for problem solving to deploy solutions at regional distribution center.
  • Develop a mapping of value streams and processes that will track the flow of materials and information from suppliers to customers.
  • Act as an expert in your field, providing ideas, innovations, opinions, regionally and nationally.
  • Develop and use appropriate metrics, analyses, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements.
  • Plan and assist in the implementation of supply chain optimization initiatives or projects related to operational changes – in the short and medium term – such as DC layout, warehouse areas, route planning, merchandise flow, capacity planning, inventory management, risk, breakage – quality and service.
  • Ensure proper implementation of proposed projects, while considering schedules and efforts / budgets and impacts and follow up with collaborators and stakeholders.
  • Assess issues, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements to maintain the integrity, consistency, and quality of distribution.
  • Take action to mitigate risks related to changes and ongoing projects in collaboration with continuous improvement teams and DCs.
  • Create and deliver quality presentations to inform, instruct, inspire, or influence.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in projects and report on milestones and successes.
  • Collaborate with peers to achieve improvement goals in the national distribution network (flow, storage, layout, new products, and process changes).
  • Contribute to the development of new process training materials and participate in the training of warehouse staff in all DCs.
  • Actively support the creation of a culture of continuous improvement, the culture of excellence.
  • Highlight potential risks and opportunities and formulate and execute process improvement, action, and mitigation plans.
  • Other tasks may be assigned, as appropriate, to ensure that the company's objectives are met.

    Formation et compétences

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar technical role with a strong knowledge of distribution operations, material flow management warehousing or production.
  • Proven problem-solving skills Experience in applying Lean Six Sigma – Yellow belt certification would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Dev-express, Access, Excel and AS400. Experience with Power BI and SQL would be an asset.
  • Must have advanced skills to manipulate and extract information from databases.
  • Experience in project management and change management (PMP designation would be an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively find information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and exert sufficient influence to be successful.
  • Have a proactive attitude and challenge existing processes to improve them and propose new solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work various shifts to meet distribution center needs.
  • Ability to travel within the region (20% of the time).
  • On-site presence is required 80% of the time.
  • Must have a good Knowledge of French and English.
  • The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and / or external clients outside Quebec and / or in the United States. Therefore, he / she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
