Business Data Analyst Responsibilities : Manage Data Quality and Functional Requirements team for assigned products (e.g. Derivatives, Loans, Securities, Repos) Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data to meet business requirements and facilitate development Ability to adopt in a metrics driven environment and good at establishing necessary governance to provide insight to management Independently conducts analysis and executes tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage and Data Governance Liaising with project / development teams and providing support during program and project life cycles Partners with finance, Data and technology teams in delivery of role Qualifications : A person with 10+ years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; knowledge of corporate banking and trade finance is preferred, demonstrated leadership skills Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed Prior experience in Data Quality Issue management, Data Quality Rules, Lineage preferred Education : Bachelor's degree / University degree or equivalent experience Master's degree preferred
