Job description
Our client, a North American leader in distribution and industrial packaging with over 45 years of stability, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead for their Milton location. This is a 100% on-site, functional leadership role designed for a high-performing recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will act as a subject matter expert, owning the recruitment function and driving process improvements while mentoring junior team members. Managing a desk that sees significant inbound application volume (300–400 daily), you will be responsible for identifying top-tier talent for warehouse operations and niche corporate roles. If you are a process-oriented professional with a keen eye for operational efficiency and a desire to work in a best-in-class, modern facility, this is an exceptional opportunity for long-term career growth.

Advantages
Competitive Compensation: Salary of $100,000 – $130,000 plus multiple bonus programs.

Day-One Benefits: 100% company-paid extended health coverage and 6% RRSP match from day one.

On-site Perks: Access to a first-class fitness center, on-site café, and monthly employee appreciation events.

Professional Support: Tuition assistance program for continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities
Lead & Mentor: Act as a functional lead for the recruitment team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior specialists to elevate overall performance.

High-Volume Recruitment: Perform full-cycle recruiting for warehouse and operations roles, managing approximately 20 interviews per week.

Process Optimization: Partner with HR leadership to identify operational efficiencies and optimize Workday metrics, including time-to-fill analysis.

Strategic Sourcing: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing tools to engage both active and passive candidates for complex hires.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc or related) is mandatory.

Experience: 10+ years in high-volume recruiting, preferably within major retail, healthcare distribution, or large logistics entities.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access); Workday experience is an asset.

Attributes: Exceptional written communication skills and a proven track record of career loyalty and progression.

Summary
The Talent Acquisition Lead will be a pivotal hire for the Milton branch, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys being "in the weeds" of high-volume recruitment while having the autonomy to suggest and implement process improvements. By maintaining a high standard of candidate screening and team mentorship, you will ensure the continued success of a premier North American distribution leader in a stable, 100% on-site environment.
