Job descriptionOperate CNC Machines : Work with advanced CNC lathes and mills to machine aluminum and zinc castings to precise specifications. Interpret Technical Documents : Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production. Utilize Precision Instruments : Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards. Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to optimize machining processes and implement best practices for aluminum machining. Maintain Equipment : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience : Proven experience operating CNC lathes and mills, preferably in a setting focused on aluminum machining. Technical Skills : Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of Aluminum Machining : Understanding of best practices for machining aluminum, including appropriate tool selection, cutting speeds, and feed rates to achieve optimal surface finishes and dimensional accuracy. Team Player : Strong collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptability. Flexibility : Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
