We are looking for a dedicatedEstimator to be an integral part of the daily operationsat our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.
In this role, you willreview and conduct pre-assessment of auto repair estimates in line with company and auto body shop standards and guidelines.

What You’ll Do:
Control the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines
Complete Total Loss evaluations through market and Autosource search
Conduct remote appraisals
Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer
Act as an active team member who encourages a collaborative working environment focusing on the customer and what matters to them
Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals
What You’ll Bring:
Post-secondary education
2-5 years auto estimating experience including Repair planning experience
Strong experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs, and prior estimating experience
Familiar with industry standard Estimating Systems
Good technical aptitude with databases/systems
Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair procedures
Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
Effective oral and written communication skills
Commit to an environment of continuous improvement
Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset, constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues
Excellent customer service skills
Can work to and positively contribute to our organizational culture and values
What You’ll get:
The salary band for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
